Cutting the Lawn with Grass Collection Box
5. Hook the grass collection box on the
housing.
6. Do not mow damp or wet grass as this will
close the openings in the grass collection
box. If the pores become filled, less grass
can be collected by the grass collection box.
The grass collection box is equipped with a
fill level indicator (A). Whilst mowing, the fill
level indicator is pushed upwards by the air flow. As soon as the grass
collection box is filled with grass clippings, the fill level indicator will drop
down. Then the grass collection box has to be emptied.
7. Empty the grass clippings only when the motor is switched off.
8. Clean the grass collection box regularly with a hand broom or with
moderate water jet and allow the grass catcher to dry thoroughly before
using again.
Cutting the Lawn without Grass Collection Box (Mulching)
Make sure the deflector plate (6) is functioning properly and moves down
when operating the lawn mower without grass collection box. Otherwise
severe personal injuries can occur!
After Work
After work, switch off the motor, wait until the lawn mower has come to a
complete standstill and pull the power cord.
Transport resp. carry the lawn mower only if the motor is switched off.
Slightly tilt the lawn mower and remove the stubborn grass from the
chassis.
Changing the Cutting Bar
First unplug the device!
5. Tilt the lawn mower to the side.
6. Unscrew the hex screw (B) by turning the screw counter clockwise. Hold
the cutting bar with a cloth or cut-proof gloves in order to keep the spindle
from turning.
