Assembling the Lawn Mower

Intended Use
Use the lawn mower only for its intended purpose, for cutting grass on lawns in
private areas.
Please observe the national regulations governing noise abatement.
The lawn mower is not intended for continuous professional use in public
areas, parks, sport ground or farming and forestry spaces.
Do not use the lawn mower during rain or on wet grass as the grass collection
box will quickly become blocked. Thus the lawn will not be cut properly.
Adjusting the Cutting Height
1. Adjust the mowing height with the cutting height adjustment lever (9). Lift
the chassis to achieve a longer grass height and lower the chassis for high
cutting height.
2. Disengage the cutting height adjustment lever (9) by pulling it to the side
and pull the lever in direction of the front wheels for lifting the chassis.
When moving the adjustment lever in direction of the rear wheels, the
chassis will be lowered. Preferably start with the middle height setting, as
the middle setting is suitable for the most lawns. The cutting height can be
adjusted from 25 mm to max. 75 mm.
Do not adjust the cutting height while the motor is running.
When mowing long grass, lift the cutting height to the max. setting in order
to avoid overloading the motor. If the motor becomes overloaded grass
residue will be formed. In this case move the lawn mower a second time
over the already mowed path.
Insert the connection bar into the provided opening in the
housing and tighten the connection bar with the included
screws.
Mount the handle (3) on the connection bar (4). Fix the handle
with the wing screws.
Hook the handle on the corresponding recess on the top side
of the grass colletion box.
For attaching the grass collection box on the lawn mower, first
open the deflector plate (6) and hook up the box in place. Re-
lease the deflector plate. The deflector plate will automatically
close the grass collection box.
