Only use the lawn mower in daylight or under adequate artificial lighting.
Remove all objects and obstacles from the lawn. Make sure the surface to
be mowed is free from stones, sticks, wire, bones, tree roots or other
objects that can be swirled resp. thrown.
Start the motor only as indicated in the manual. Keep feet away from the
cutter bar.
Hold the lawn mower firmly with your hands while operating.
Do not run while operating the lawn mower.
Before each operation make sure the cutter bar, all bolts and screws etc.
are securely tightened. If parts are worn or damaged, replace them
immediately. Always replace the complete set in order to avoid unbalance.
By doing this the lawn mower will always be in safe working condition.
Do not operate the lawn mower with a defective collection box. Always
make sure moving parts are working properly.
Always mind the soiling conditions when reversing in order not to stumble.
Pay special attention when reversing or pulling back the lawn mower
towards you. During operation always make sure not to slip or fall, particu-
larly when reversing or changing direction.
Use extra caution when approaching corners, shrubs, trees, fences or
other objects that may obscure vision. Be careful when working close to
window walls, cars etc.
Secure the lawn mower against rolling away.
Be very careful when working on slopes. Do not attempt to mow very
steep slopes. Always work across the slope not upward or downward.
Mowing close to embankments can be dangerous. Always ensure firm
footing on inclined soil or wet grass. Reduced footing could cause slipping.
Be very careful when changing mowing direction on hillside.
Do not pull the lawn mower back if this is not really necessary. Always look
down and behind you before pulling back the lawn mower.
Do not tilt the lawn mower when starting the motor.
Avoid using the lawn mower under very wet condition.
Do not position your hands and feet close to rotating parts.
Switch off the motor and remove the power plug in order to avoid
