  • Page 2 The TDP05K may be used in rectangular, oval, or round applications when installed in accordance with this instal- lation manual. The TDP05K is designed to be installed in almost any location that airflow needs to be measured. Measurements may be improved by following the placement guidelines in this document. When adequate space is not available, more probes and/or sensors are recommended.
  • Page 3 Probe Airflow Measuring Issued June 30, 2009 The sensor density is based on extensive lab testing to optimize the accuracy of the TDP05K Airflow Measuring System. When installing the thermal dispersion probes, use the Rectangular Duct Mounting, Round Duct Mounting, and Oval Duct Mounting sections to determine the proper spacing between each probe within the opening.
