Effect of the Settings in the Device

The motor cable can have a total length of 100 m if it is a standard type. If
you use a shielded cable or run the cable in a well-grounded metallic cable
duct, the total length should not exceed 30 m.

For operation with several motors, the total motor cable length is
the sum of all individual cable lengths.

The terminals +B/-B are provided for connection of a suitable braking resis‐
tor. For the connection, select a twisted and shielded line which is as short as
possible (maximum allowed length 2 x 5 m).
