Adjusting the Machine

3.5.1 Hydraulic Unfolding/Folding of the Machine

There is an adjustable flow choke installed downstream the hydraulic quick coupler. Use it to
adjust the speed of unfolding and folding of the roller to eliminate side frame jerks in extreme
positions
•
lift the roller section [B] slightly by means of the cylinder [A] so that the roller arms [C]
are outside of the lock [D]
•
tilt the side frames [C] using the cylinders [E]
•
retract the cylinder [A], causing the lowering (i.e. tilting of the frames [B] to the front of
the machine)
When folding the machine, do the above steps in reverse order.
