Brakes
•
Inspection and adjustment of the air brake system is to be carried out 2 times a year
before commencement of field work (machine operation) or after the operator has
determined that the braking force has been reduced
•
Adjust the braking force by reducing the cylinder idle stroke. Remove the pressure from
the brake system before proceeding, then disengage the fork [A] from the arm [B].
Unscrew the fork [A] towards the arm [B]. Reconnect the system.
•
Perform any operations on a depressurized system.
•
Everyday maintenance consists of checking the air system tightness and visual
inspection of the air lines.
•
Replace any damaged components with new ones immediately.
•
Drain condensate from the air system at least 2 times a year, and especially before
winter. To do this, unscrew the drain plug [1] located at the bottom of the air tank [2].
Replace the plug after draining condensate, and check the system tightness.
•
Clean the system filter as required,
however at least once a year.
•
For the safe operation of the compressed air valves, it is required that an anti-freeze agent
should be added to the system. Observe the tractor manufacturer's recommendations.
•
Release the brake, and depressurize and drain the system before the winter storage.
