7 Flashes/Beeps
• Indicates a problem with the throttle control lever.
• May also indicate a problem with the potentiometer (speed control.)
• Your scooter will not operate until the problem is resolved.
Remedy:
• Make certain that all electrical connections are firmly and correctly joined.
• If the connections are all firmly joined and the problem is not solved, contact your
authorized Golden Technologies, Inc. provider.
8 Flashes/Beeps
• Indicates a motor voltage problem.
• Your scooter will not operate until the problem is corrected.
Remedy: Contact your authorized Golden Technologies, Inc. provider.
9 Flashes/Beeps
• Indicates other internal errors or faults
• Your scooter will not operate until the problem is corrected
Remedy: Contact your authorized Golden Technologies, Inc. provider.

Non-Flash/Beep Code Faults
If the following faults occur, please check the fuses in the fuse panel located at the center
of the tiller. Refer to page 19 for fuse replacement and warnings.
Faults
The dash does not illuminate when the key is turned to the "on" position. The scooter

does not operate and the headlight/taillight do not illuminate.
Remedy: Check the top fuse (1 AMP) in the fuse panel. Replace the fuse with the same
type and rating if the fuse is bad.
The USB charging port will not charge your smart devices such as a phone or

tablet.
Remedy: Check the middle fuse (2 AMP) in the fuse panel. Replace the fuse with the
same type and rating if the fuse is bad.
The XLR charging port is not functioning, causing the batteries not to charge when

the off-board battery charger is connected.
Remedy: Check the bottom fuse (10 AMP) in the fuse panel. Replace the fuse with the
same type and rating if the fuse is bad.
