  • Page 16 V. OPERATION   Power Indicator When the power to your Companion is turned on, the Power Indicator LED (Light Emitting Diode) will light up. See figure 5 on page15.     V. OPERATION   POWER ELEVATING SEAT ADJUSTMENT - OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT Your Companion may be equipped with a power elevating seat. The power elevating seat actuator is designed to raise or lower the seat with minimal effort by the user. The power elevating seat switch is located on the tiller below the throttle lever.

Below are some common obstacles that you may meet during the daily use of your scooter. Listed with those obstacles are some driving tips that should help you conquer those obstacles.

(Optional) Loosen the arm width adjustment knobs, and slide the arms off the scooter. This will reduce the seat weight, if you are not able to carry the seat with the armrests attached.

Charge new batteries for 12 hours even if the battery gauge already shows a full charge. This is to condition your new batteries for maximum performance. WARNING! Corrosive chemicals contained inside the battery.
