9.0 ADDING SERIAL COMMANDS TO BUTTONS

To configure a serial command to a button, select the button from the Wall Plate Screen Simulator and then press the
"Add" button as shown in figure 9.1.
The "Add New Command" window should appear as shown in figure 9.2 and will default to the Serial command type.
This is where all the serial command parameters are set. The Port refers to output port of the A 6505 serial hub and is
either Port 1 or 2. (NOTE: Older versions of the software may have the option of Port 0 or 1.)
The serial transmission parameters are set by simple drop down boxes, for the baud rate (Speed), Stop bits, transmission
Bits and Parity.
