LED Panel for JBOD Models
The LED panel on the JBOD chassis ear contains the following items:
 Service LED: Press and hold the mute/service button for more than two seconds
activates the Service LED. It notifies the managing RAID system and also helps
you locate that specific enclosure. An administrator may initiate the Service ID by
clicking on the LED icon in SANWatch software's Enclosure View so that he can
easily locate the faulty drive. He or she can then locate and replace the failed
drive. For more details, refer to the SANWatch user manual and firmware user
manual included in the CD-ROM.
 Power (Failure) LED: Indicates that the power supply has an error.
 Cooling Fan (Failure) LED: Indicates that the cooling fan has an error.
 Thermal LED: Indicates that the internal temperature has increased beyond the
safety threshold.
 System Fault LED: Indicates that the JBOD system has an error.
 Rotary ID switch: Each JBOD enclosure should be manually assigned with an
enclosure ID so that each disk drive can be addressed. The RAID subsystem
occupies ID# 0. The JBODs should occupy IDs from #"1" to #"6."
