Behaviour in case of malfunctions and irregularities The appliance may only be used in a flawless condition.   • Page 5 Putting into operation When operating the appliance for the first time, do not leave it unattended until it has reached a steady state. Connecting the vacuum pump Connect the vacuum pump's ► 230 V plug with earthing con- tact to the internal socket in the pump module.
  • Page 6 Connecting the vacuum pump to the VO The connection for the signal lead (left) and the connection for the vacuum hose (right) can be found at the rear of the PM. Connect the vacuum oven and the pump module to the signal lead and the vacuum hose as described in the operating manual for the MEMMERT vacuum oven.
