VarioCAM must not be exposed to the sun or other radiation-intensive sources (e.g.
laser) during operation or when switched off. Otherwise serious damage to the camera
can occur!
Only use ATA compatible Compact Flash memory cards in the PCMCIA slot of the
®
VarioCAM . Otherwise damage to the camera or the memory card can arise, for which no
liability will be accepted.
Use the appropriate charger as a matter of principle for charging the supplied Li-ION
batteries. The charger is only suitable for indoor use. In order to avoid the risk of fire or
an electric shock, the charger must not be exposed to rain or moisture.
Changing lenses should not be done in rooms with high dust content or humidity, as the
protection class IP 54 is not guaranteed for a detached lens.
