2. UNPACKING THE TROLLEY
For ease of transportation, the trolley is supplied, dismantled, in a wooden case.
The 3rd wheel bar (01) and the third wheel (02) are supplied as loose pieces in the wooden case.
Procedure for assembling, the third wheel (02) onto the 3rd wheel bar (01):
– Loosen the clamp (03).
– Press the pin (20) and insert the wheel (02) on the connecting rod (01) lining up the two
reference arrows (see detail in Fig. 3).
– Tighten the clamp (03).
3. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
3.1) Assembly (removal) of connecting rod
Assemble the connecting rod to the body of the trolley as follows:
– Position the body of the trolley on a track using the handle (05) (ref. to Fig. 2).
– Pull the pin (06) (see Fig 4), line up the key and fully insert the connecting rod into
aperture (A).
Type CS-SD trolley:
– Release the pin (06) to secure the connecting rod (01): the third wheel will then rest on
the opposite rail, allowing the trolley to roll along the track.
– To remove the connecting rod (01), pull the pin (06) and slide the rod from the body.
Type CS-SD-TA trolley:
– Release the pin (06) to secure the connecting rod (01).
– Loosen the two handles (25) and adjust the rod so that the third wheel (02) rests on the
opposite rail and the trolley is able to roll along the track (ref. to Fig. 5)
NOTE To use the trolley on track gauge 900 mm, the third wheel (02) must be turned around
to face inwards (ref. to Fig. 5a).
– After adjustment, tighten the handles (25).
– To remove the connecting rod (01), pull the knob (06) and slide the rod from the body.
3.2) Releasing and securing the support mechanism
To release the support mechanism proceed as follows:
– Press on the area indicated by the arrow (ref. to Fig. 6) and release the latch from the ring
(07); the support mechanism, driven by the gas pressure spring (08), will automatically
move to the maximum open position (see Fig 7)
WARNING! gas spring extends rapidly, release with caution.
To prevent the support mechanism opening too quickly,
control the opening movement by hand.
