PROBLEM
Cutting wheel does not operate.
Cutting wheel rotates sluggishly or
insufficient cutting power.
Oil is leaking from the motor area.
Excessive oil temperature (more
than 180° F).

TROUBLESHOOTING
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Auxiliary hoses are not hooked up to
skid steer.
The diverter valve is in the sideshift
position (MD model only).
There is an obstruction in one or
both of the auxiliary hoses.
One or more seals on the motor has
failed.
Motor shaft key has failed.
Skid steer auxiliary hydraulics are
not operating properly.
The diverter valve is not fully shifted
to the saw position (MD only).
Insufficient hydraulic flow from the
skid steer.
The hydraulic oil filter on the skid
steer is dirty.
Relief valve on the skid steer is not
set properly.
One or more seals on the motor
have failed.
One or more seals on the motor
have failed.
O-rings on fittings are damaged.
O-ring between planetary and motor
has failed.
Fittings are loose or damaged.
Hydraulic hoses are loose or
damaged.
Obstruction in one or both auxiliary
hydraulic hoses.
Hydraulic oil level on skid steer is
low.
Hydraulic oil in skid steer is dirty.
Hydraulic oil filter on skid steer is
dirty or clogged.
Relief valve on skid steer is not set
properly.
SOLUTION
Inspect connections visually (make
sure QDs are fully engaged).
Make sure diverter valve is pushed
inward as far as possible.
Remove and inspect hoses visually.
Contact dealer.
Remove and visually inspect motor.
Refer to skid steer owner's manual.
Make sure diverter valve is pushed
inward as far as possible.

Visually inspect O-rings and replace
