diverter valve: Setting hot water
temperature
B Do not set the temperature higher than
60˚C for normal operation.
B Only use temperatures of up to 70˚C
temporarily for thermal disinfection pur-
poses.
B Set the hot water temperature by means of the tem-
perature control
on the appliance.

ECO button
Pressing and holding the ECO button
Comfort mode to ECO-mode.
Comfort mode, ECO button is not lit (factory set-
ting)
Comfort mode the hot water tank has priority. The hot
water cylinder is first heated up to the set temperature.
The appliance then switches to central heating mode.
ECO mode, button is lit
In ECO mode the appliance switches between central
heating mode and cylinder charging mode every
12 minutes.

Frost protection
Frost protection is only guaranteed from the external
room temperature thermostat.
B Leave master switch switched on.
If the appliance is to be left for long periods switch the
central heating off:
B Add a suitable anti-freeze fluid to the water in the
central heating system.

Pump anti-seize function

This function prevents the central heating
i
pump seizing after long periods of inactiv-
ity.
Every time the pump is switched off, a timer is started.
If after 24 hours the pump has not run again, it is
switched on for a period of 5 minutes.

Fault Condition

A list of faults that may occur is given on
i
page 41.
In the unlikely event of a fault occuring while the appli-
ance is in operation:
The display then shows a fault code and the button
may also flash.
If the button
flashes:
B Press and hold the button
"– –".
The appliance will then start up again and the display
will show the central heating flow temperature.
If the button
does not flash:
B Switch the appliance off and then on again at the
master switch.
The appliance will start up again and the central heat-
ing flow temperature will be displayed.
