Umbrella Assembly CONNECTING BOTTOM POLE INTO UMBRELLA BASE Insert the bottom pole (B) into umbrella base (sold separately). Use a heavy or weighted base. Securely fasten the bottom pole (B) to the umbrella base. Hold the sunshade (A) upside down and gently shake it until it naturally falls into the open position.Then, slowly crank the handle until the cord slack is taken up. Turn the sunshade upright and insert it into the bottom pole (B). Ensure that the metal tab on the bottom pole pops into the secure hole on the sunshade.

Umbrella Assembly (continued) CHECKING THE UMBRELLA Use the crank to open and close the umbrella. Before storing the umbrella, make sure it is closed and then tie down the umbrella to secure.
