Removing the engine guard (All EXC-F Six Days, XCF‑W)

Move the hydraulic clutch fluid reservoir mounted on the han-
dlebar into a horizontal position.

Remove screws .

Take off cover with membrane

Fill bleeding syringe with the appropriate hydraulic fluid.

Brake fluid DOT 4 / DOT 5.1 (

On the clutch slave cylinder, remove the protection cap,

remove bleeder screw
–
Now inject fluid into the system until it escapes from the

opening of the master cylinder without bubbles.
–
Occasionally extract the fluid from the master cylinder reser-
voir to prevent overflowing.
–
Remove the bleeding syringe. Mount and tighten the bleeder
screw. Mount the protection cap.

Correct the fluid level of the hydraulic clutch.

Position the cover with the membrane. Mount and tighten the
screws.

Immediately clean up any brake fluid that has over-
flowed or spilled with water.
