Port Forwarding

To access the Port Forwarding page, click on the Advanced menu link at the top, and then click on the Port Forwarding menu link on the left.
This function is used to open ports in your device and re-direct data through those
ports to a single PC on your network (WAN-to-LAN traffic). It allows remote users to
access services on your LAN, such as FTP for file transfers or SMTP and POP3 for e-
mail. The device accepts remote requests for these services at your global IP
address. It uses the specified TCP or UDP protocol and port number, and redirects
these requests to the server on your LAN with the LAN IP address you specify. Note
that the specified private IP address must be within the available range of the subnet
where the device is in.
Click Add button and the right page appears.
Enter an IP address in the Server IP Address field, to appoint the corresponding PC
to receive forwarded packets.
The Ports show the ports that you want to open on the device. The TCP/UDP means
the protocol type of the opened ports.
Click Apply to save the settings.
