Security Settings
In this page, you can set the security for the 2.4G wireless network of the 2877AL.
Step1 In the Select SSID drop-down list, select a SSID to be configured. For
example: D-Link DSL-2877AL.
Step2 In the Work Mode drop-down list, select a security encryption mode for the
2.4G wireless network. It is recommended to select WPA/WPA2 Mixed. You'll
see the following figure.
Step3 Configure the Work mode to be WPA/WPA2 Mixed.
Personal: set the pre-shared key (password of your wireless network) in the
Pre-Shared Key field.
Enterprise: enter the port, IP address, and password of the Radius server.
The wireless clients are required to enter the username and password provided by
the Radius server.
Step4 In the Encryption Mode drop-down list, select TKIP+AES.
Step5 Set the Group Key Update Interval. For higher security, WPA/WPA2 Mixed
password is updated periodically. This value is the update interval of the
WPA/WPA2 Mixed password. You can keep it as default.
Step6 In Pre-Shared Key textbox, set the password for the 2.4G wireless network.
Step7 After setting, click Submit to take the settings into effect.The SSID is name of
your WLAN. Try to avoid using standard term, e.g. WLAN, as SSID.
