Output-side connection

At its output, the SITOP PSU400M power supply provides an isolated PELV output voltage
(Protected Extra Low Voltage). When connected to the converter DC link, the output must be
grounded at one end. The ground connection should be established outside the device.
Note
The SITOP PSU400M power supply has two protective conductor connections (PE). It is not
permissible that the protective conductor is connected to the input, not even capacitively.
The cross-section of the protective conductor connections (PE) must be the same as the
supply cable.
The output is no-load, overload, and short-circuit proof. If an overload occurs, the electronic
current limiting function limits the output current to a maximum value (see Section Technical
data (Page 31)).
Figure 5-2
The output voltage is connected via the + and - terminals at the output of the power supply
(see Figure Output-side connection (Page 29)). Ensure that the output cables are
dimensioned correctly for the maximum output current rms value and fused accordingly.
