increase more rapidly than adults in the
same water with elevated
temperatures (above 99° F).
Children should spend
less time in
water above
body temperature than
adults.

a spa while
under the influence of
alcohol

drugs and/or medication may lead to
unconsciousness
with
the possibility of drowning.

Persons on medication

medication may induce drowsiness
