Adjust the gap between the guide and chain.
Turn the adjuster and adjust until the following conditions are met.
• The gap between the chain and the inside surface of the guide outer side is 0 - 0.5 mm
• The gap between the guide and adjuster is 3 mm or less
NOTE
• Depending on the frame, the two conditions above may not be met. If this occurs,
adjust in the following manner.
(1) Measure the gap between the adjuster and the guide and confirm the value that
exceeds 3 mm.
(2) Temporarily remove the bracket.
(3) Insert the two types of spacers included with the product between the bracket and
the frame and adjust the installation position in accordance with the value
confirmed in step (1). The two types of spacers included with the product consist of a
1.25 mm spacer and a 2.5 mm spacer.
