1. Slacken the 2 screws securing the blade cover and remove the cover. 2. Turn the side handle counterclockwise to unscrew it from the casing of the bandsaw. 3. Swivel the lever in the direction of rotation through its full 180 ° of travel. The side handle has to be removed to allow the lever to pivot.
