Protective equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries. ▶ Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off‐position before connecting to battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool.

In this case, always contact your Hilti Service. ▶ If the battery is too hot to touch it may be defective. In this case, place the product in a non-flammable location, well away from flammable materials, where it can be kept under observation and allowed to cool down.

Use only suitable saw blades (length as short as possible). Use the plunge cutting technique only on soft materials and only with short saw blades. The product can be used in one of two plunge cutting positions: in the normal position or in the reversed position.
