Displays the V (urea).
Touch the V (urea) field for entering V (urea).

The following parameters can be checked/set.

For the calculation of V (urea)

Age
Sex
Note
We recommend entering V (urea). If V (urea) is not known, it will be
calculated by the system from the weight, height, age and sex using the
formula developed by Watson. Alternatively V (urea) can be determined
in the laboratory from blood samples. The PC program DC-Tool
distributed by Fresenius Medical Care is available for this purpose. The
Hct value determined from a blood sample prior to the treatment must
be entered in the Hct field.
Dialysis dose prescribed by the physician
Time between two measuring cycles
For the calculation of K and Plasma-Na
Volume of urea distribution of the patient; to be
entered in liters
