Cannot create more folders • The folder whose first three digits of the name is "999" exists in the "Memory Stick." You cannot create any folders.

Meaning/Corrective Action
• Insert a "Memory Stick" (page 18).
• Turn the power off and on again (page 15).
• The inserted "Memory Stick" cannot be used in your camera (page 116).
• The "Memory Stick" is damaged.
• The terminal section of the "Memory Stick" is dirty.
• Insert the "Memory Stick" correctly (page 18).
• The inserted "Memory Stick" cannot be used in your camera (page 116).
• Failed to format the "Memory Stick." Format the "Memory Stick" again (page 42).
• The write-protect switch on the "Memory Stick" is set to the LOCK position. Set it to the recording position
(page 116).
• The capacity of the "Memory Stick" is insufficient. You cannot record images. Delete unnecessary images (pages 40
and 78).
• Your camera cannot record or delete images to this "Memory Stick."
• No images have been recorded in this folder.
• A folder with the same first three digits number already exists in the "Memory Stick." (For example: 123MSDCF
and 123ABCDE) Select other folders, or create a new folder.
• The camera cannot record images in the selected folder. Select a different folder (page 46).
• An error occurred while playing back the image.
• The image is protected against erasure. Release the protection (page 67).
• The battery pack is not the "InfoLITHIUM" type.
• You are playing back an image of a size that cannot be played back on your camera.
