Cannot receive digital channels (when a
DTV receiver is connected)
b Check the DTV INPUT setting in the SET UP
menu. (see "DTV INPUT" on page 47)
b Check the connections between the DTV receiver
and the projection TV. (see pages 12 and 13)
b Check your local listings to find out if you can
receive digital broadcasts in your area.
Cannot receive upper channels (UHF)
when using an antenna
b Make sure CABLE is OFF in the CHANNEL SET
UP menu. (see "CABLE" on page 42)
b Use AUTO PROGRAM to add receivable channels
that are not presently in the TV's memory. (see
"AUTO PROGRAM" on page 42)
No color
b Adjust the COLOR in the VIDEO menu. (see
"COLOR" on page 36)
b Black and white programs cannot be seen in color.
b Perform AUTO SET UP again using the SET UP
button to return to the factory preset condition. (see
"To perform AUTO SET UP again" on page 25)

Only snow and noise appear on the
screen
b Check the CABLE setting in the CHANNEL SET
UP menu. (see "CABLE" on page 42)
b Check the antenna/cable connections.
b Make sure the channel is broadcasting programs.
b Press ANT to change the input mode. (see "ANT"
on page 26)
Dotted lines or stripes
b Adjust the antenna.
b Keep the projection TV away from noise sources
such as cars, neon signs or hair-dryers.
TV is fixed to one channel
b Use AUTO PROGRAM to add receivable channels
that are not presently in TV's memory. (see "AUTO
PROGRAM" on page 42)
b Try turning CHANNEL FIX off. (see "CHANNEL
FIX" on page 42)
Double images or ghosts
b Use a highly directional outdoor antenna or a cable
(when the problem is caused by reflections from
nearby mountains or tall buildings).
Cannot operate the menu
b If the item you want to choose appears in gray, you
cannot select it.
b Press the projection TV's power button off and on
again.
Cannot receive any channels when
using cable TV
b Check the connection with a cable box again. (see
pages 9 and 11)
b Make sure CABLE is ON in the CHANNEL SET
UP menu. (see "CABLE" on page 42)
b Use AUTO PROGRAM to add receivable channels

Cannot gain enough volume when using
a cable box
b Increase the volume at the cable box. Then press
TV (FUNCTION) and adjust the projection TV's
volume.

available channels
