■ Check the lead-acid battery
This vehicle uses a refill-free water battery.
Check the battery voltage:
Use a voltage meter to check if the battery voltage is higher
than 12V. If the voltage is too low, remove the battery, and
recharge it.
When the battery terminal is rusty, open the seat and remove
the battery cover. Clean the battery terminal. After cleaning,
apply grease or petrolatum to the battery terminal before
installing the battery.
 When you remove the battery, turn off the main switch
first. Then remove the negative wire before removing the
positive wire. Connect the positive wire first when
installing, then the negative.
 Keep away from naked fire when removing/installing a
battery.

■ Change the Gear Oil
<Oil Change Period>
First oil change when running 300 km for a new vehicle,
afterwards every half year or 3000 km.
