Turn the volume knob clockwise until the
display comes on to on the radio.
Turn the volume knob counterclockwise
until the display off to off the radio.
Turn the volume knob clockwise to
increase the volume.
Turn the volume knob counterclockwise
to decrease the volume.
Turn the SQL switch knob
counterclockwise to ASQ position.
Turn the SQL switch knob clockwise to
increase the squelch level to filter out
weaker signals and background noise.
