Problem
Air purifier does not power on.
Air purifier does not respond to
button controls.
After turning on Auto Mode, the
air purifier always runs on the
highest fan speed.
Air purifier makes an unusual
noise while operating.
Significantly reduced airflow.

Cause
Unit is not plugged into an electrical outlet.
Outlet is not working properly.
Filter cover is not properly placed on the unit.
Power cord is damaged.
Air purifier is defective or malfunctioning.
Air purifier is not plugged into an outlet.
Filter cover is not properly placed on the unit.
Air purifier is defective or malfunctioning.
The air in the surrounding environment is still dirty.
There is dust on the lens of the dust sensor.
Air filter needs to be replaced.
Filter does not fit properly.
Foreign object inside the unit.
Filter packaging has not been removed.
Fan speed is low.
Filter needs to be replaced.
Not enough clearance on all sides of the purifier.
Solution
Connect the plug to a powered electrical
outlet.
Try plugging the air purifier into a different
outlet.
Properly replace the filter cover (see Getting
Started, page 6).
Immediately discontinue use and contact
Customer Support (page 14).
Connect the plug to a powered electrical

Properly replace the filter cover (see Getting
Started, page 6).
Immediately discontinue use and contact

Allow the air purifier to continue running at
high speed until the air quality in the room
improves.
Clean the dust sensor (see Cleaning the Dust

and Replacing the Air Filter, pages 6
and 10).
Immediately discontinue use and contact
Customer Support (page 14). DO NOT
attempt to open the air purifier.
Remove the filter from its packaging before
use.
Press
to adjust fan speed.
Replace the air filter (see Replacing the Air
Filter, page 10).
Ensure there is at least 15 inches (38 cm) of
clearance on all sides of the purifier.
