Troubleshooting Tips... Before you call for service
Save time and money! Review the charts on the following pages first and you may not need to call for service.
Problem
Refrigerator does not run
Refrigerator compressor runs
frequently or for long periods of
time.
NOTE: This refrigerator is designed
to run for longer periods of time at a
lower energy usage.
Refrigerator has an odor
Light does not come on
Interior lights are flashing
Doors do not close properly
Vibration or rattling
It sounds like water is flowing
from the refrigerator.

Possible Causes
Refrigerator is unplugged.
Circuit breaker is tripped/turned off
or the fuse is blown.
Refrigerator is in defrost mode.
Refrigerator is in Showroom
illuminated on the control panel).
Power was turned off at the control
panel (Power icon is illuminated

Refrigerator is first plugged in.
Warm food or large amounts of
food added.
Hot weather or frequent openings
Temperature control set to coldest

What to Do
Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet.
Reset / Turn on circuit breaker or
replace fuse.
Wait approximately 40 minutes for
defrost cycle to end, and the cooling
system to restart.
Exit Showroom mode by pressing
and the Sabbath controls at the same
time for 3 seconds.
Press and hold POWER for 3
seconds (Power icon will illuminate
green).
This is normal. Allow 24 hours for the
refrigerator to cool down.
This is normal.
Rearrange or remove items that
are keeping the door from closing
completely.
This is normal. Limit door openings
Adjust temperature to a warmer
setting.
Reseal packaging. Place an opened
box of baking soda in the refrigerator,
replace every 3 months.
Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet.
Contact a qualified technician to
