• You will be able to train your pet to the Pet Keeper system whether your pet is new to the Invisible Fence
Brand system or has been trained to a system before.
• The Avoidance Flags included act as a visual during the training process. While they are important during
the training process, they are temporary and may be removed once your pet is fully trained, generally in 2
weeks.
• Once you have properly set up your indoor Shields

Praise your pet for leaving the protected area. Repeat this process until your pet reacts to the warning beep
on their own by moving away from the protected area. Remove the post covers on the Computer Collar
unit. Allow your pet to enter the protected area. Your pet should react immediately to the warning beep and
correction by moving away from the protected area. It may take several times for your pet to recognize and
avoid the protected area.
After training is complete, remove your pet's Computer Collar
if this is not possible, please check the tightness of the collar each time you feed your pet by removing the
collar and then replacing it back on your pet. Remember to set your pet up to succeed, allow them plenty of
fun time in the safe area and do not overdo a training session.
Maintenance for your Pet Keeper Invisible Fence
Shields Indoor Avoidance Systems need very little maintenance. Your Indoor Shields
