In Massachusetts: All gas products must be installed by a "Massachusetts" license
plumber or gasfitter. A "T" handle type manual gas valve must be installed in the gas
supply line to this appliance.
WARNING: If the information in this manual is not followed exactly, a fire or
explosion may result causing property damage, personal injury or death.
Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquid in the vicinity of
this or any other appliance.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS
- Do not try to light any appliance.
- Do not touch any electrical switch.
- Do not use any phone in your building.
- Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor's phone. Follow
the gas supplier's instructions.
- If you cannot reach your gas suppliers, call the fire department.
Installation and service must be performed by a qualified installer, service agency
or the gas supplier.
Read this instruction booklet before installing and using the appliance.

Inserting the hotplate After having removed the various loose parts from the internal and external packing, make sure that the hotplate in not damaged and is suitable for the specific gas usage. The gas type label is on the underside of the hotplate base. -

Branchement du gaz Avant de brancher l’appareil à l’alimentation gaz, enlevez d’abord le bouchon en plastique qui est monté en force dans le raccord d’admission du gaz; pour l’enlever, le tirer simplement. 1.
