A HI PERFORMANCE LCR THAT CAN STAND WITH THE BEST
TWO CHANNEL MONITORS
The left and right speaker in an audiophile two-channel
system can uncannily recreate all the complexity, detail
and space of a live performance, while the center channel
speaker is regarded as the most important speaker in any
multi-channel, surround system. LCR's, are a multipurpose
design for both of these critical applications. The ICS 1030
is a D'Appolito Array, designed by Snell chief engineer, Joe
D'Appolito. As an Left & Right it can haunt you with preci-
sion and soundstage, while as a Center it captures every
whisper, every nuance. Together they set the tonal balance,
called timbre, for the rest of the system. The ICS 1030 takes
its drivers and crossover design of the acclaimed Snell LCR7
and integrates them into a utility, in-cabinet LCR. As such, it
is designed to fit into furniture or millwork, and is tuned to
compensate for the sonic problems that these cabinet bound-
aries cause. The result is a speaker that perfectly matches
the LCR7, and its two cousins the AMC 830 In-Wall and AMC
6030 In-Ceiling Monitor. Any combination of these four
models can be mixed and matched to make a fully integrated
system that will work with any room décor.
