Braking resistor connection
The thermostatic switch of the braking resistor must be integrated in the
de-energization circuit of the main contactor.
The unit requires an external 24 V voltage supply for operation.
The two-pole connection necessary for this is provided at the top of the
unit.

External 24 V supply
♦ In order to afford protection against direct contact, the external 24 V
power supply must be of the PELV system type (Protective Extra
Low Voltage). The power supply reference potential will then
definitely be grounded.
♦ Fuse –Fx must be fitted in order to protect the printed conductors
against overload in the event of a unit malfunction, e.g. a short
circuit in the control electronics or a wiring error.
♦ Fuse –Fx m.c.b. 6 A tripping characteristic C Siemens 5SX2 106-7.
