Install and charge the handset batteries
Your DECT 522 is supplied with 2 rechargeable batteries.
Battery life and range
Talk time and standby time
When the battery is fully charged, the talk time of your DECT 522 is approximately
12 hours and the standby time is approximately 150 hours.
Low battery warning
The battery level is shown in the top right-hand corner of the handset screen. If the
battery level becomes low, you will hear a beep and the

Install
IMPORTANT The handset
must be charged for at least
24 hours before using it for the
first time.
Install batteries

Slide off the battery door (if fitted).

Insert the batteries as shown and
slide back the door.
Charge batteries
1
Place the handset face-up on the
base
station. A beep confirms that the
handset is placed correctly.
A charging animation on the handset

screen shows that the battery is charging.

Leave the handset until the
batteries are fully charged (at least 24
hours).
