1.
Allow the Engine to run at no load
until warm (approx. 3 minutes) after
each start-up to allow the Engine to
stabilize.
2.
The 12 volt DC Outlet is designed for
charging a 12 volt DC battery only.
(See Figure H.)
3.
Plug the DC Outlet Cord provided
into the DC Outlet on the Generator.
4.
Connect the Positive (+) clamp of the
DC Outlet Cord to the Positive (+)
terminal on the battery.
(See Figure I, next page.)
5.
Connect the Negative (--) clamp of
the DC Outlet Cord to the Negative
(--) terminal on the battery.
(See Figure I.)
6.
When finished charging the battery,
unplug the DC Outlet Cord from the
DC Outlet on the Generator. Then
disconnect the Cord clamps from the
battery. (See Figure I.)
7.
If charing a DC battery on a vehicle,
always clamp the negative wire of the
Generator to a good ground connec-
tion on the chassis.

Generator Shut Off:
1.
Remove all electrical load devices
from the Generator.
2.
Allow the Engine to run for approxi-
mately 1 minute with no electrical
load.
3.
Turn Generator's Power Switch to the
"OFF" position.
(See Figure d.)
4.
Turn the Fuel Lever to its "OFF" posi-
tion. (See Figure C.)
5.
Allow the Generator to completely
cool before storing.
