    3.1.6 Backfeed protection The SAFEPOWER EVO HFT is provided with a device to prevent voltage backfeed on the input line due to an internal fault. This protection device works by switching off the inverter if the current flow is faulty, thereby causing voltage backfeed on the by-pass line during operation from the inverter.

    Start-up procedure mains power supply The mains power supply has to be present in order to start up the SAFEPOWER EVO HFT The SAFEPOWER EVO HFT output terminals will be powered in this phase and all applications connected will receive voltages.     3.10 Components of the block diagrams The SAFEPOWER EVO HFT is made up of the following sub-assemblies: IGBT RECTIFIER This represents the input stage and its function is to convert the alternating voltage of the power supply line into direct voltage.
