7. Push the side rail in both ends, all the way up until the
upper bar locks in the upper position.

Retighten the screw and tab under the lower side rail
bar, in each corner of the bed ends.

3.8 Mattress retainers

WARNING!
Risk of injury
If the mattress retainers are removed the mattress
will not follow the movement, when profiling
the sections. The mattress can slip sideways
and cause the user to fall out of the bed or get
trapped in the bed.
– Always use mattress retainers and be careful to
put them back after any adjustments.
– Always use the original type of retainers.
– After assembly of mattress support all four
mattress retainers must point upwards.

3.9 Installing the mattress support extension

(optional)
1. Remove the foot bed end.
2.
Loosen the screws that secure the standard bed end
brackets and remove
3. Insert the extended length bed end brackets into the
frame tubes and secure with screws.

4. Reinstall the foot bed end and fix it to the brackets with
the tapping screws.
IMPORTANT!
On a extended bed the foot bed end has to
be secured by fixing it to the brackets with
tapping screws.
5.
Attach mattress deck extender to the foot end of the
mattress deck.

3.10 Install Rastofix

(optional)
1. Press bottom of Rastofix at the foot end of the bed.
2. Squeeze upper end of Rastofix together.
3. Rotate Rastofix between tabs and release.

3.11 Dismantle the bed

1. Lock all castors and remove all accessories, end boards
and mattress.
2. Bring the bed to its lowest position and adjust all
mattress support sections to horizontal position.
3. Disconnect the mains power cable. Roll the cable onto
the hook of the head end of the bed.
If the bed is provided with a cable actuated foot
section, follow step 4. Otherwise proceed with step
5.
4. Unfasten cable from foot section deck bracket, being
sure to retain the clevis pin and hitch pin.
