    Icon 100 Series Refrigeration Controllers are designed to measure, display, and control the temperature of refrigeration cases and coldrooms. The Icon 100 Series are powered by AC 230 V, 50/60 Hz, and can read from two thermistor probes (thermostat and / or defrost probes), and has up to three relay outputs (compressor, defrost and fan).

Introduction The controller must be installed in a place where it is protected from extreme vibrations, impacts, water, corrosive gases, steam etc. and where temperature and humidity do not exceed the values given in the technical specification table (see page 6).

While fitting the controller we recommend to leave enough room at the back in order to avoid compressing or excessively bending the cables. Front Panel The front panel, as shown in the figures below, includes 4 keys, i.e., the UP key (increase), the DOWN key (decrease), the SET key (setting), the MANUAL DEFROST key, and a three-digit display with three signal LEDs: DP1, DP2, and DP3.

This must be fixed within the limits set in parameters d3 and d4. d2 Differential (hysteresis): The differential is the temperature added to the set point at which the compressor is switched off.

When the controller is switched ON, it is possible to upload the parameter configurations of the controller to the HotKey, or vice-versa to download parameter configurations from the HotKey to the controller.
