5.2

Engine

Removal:
(a)
1. Remove M6 wing nut
nut, and filter.
2. Disconnect throttle cable
3. Disconnect electric control cable from front of engine.
Cut tie-wraps holding cable to engine.
4. Remove drive belt as described in Section 3.1 Belt
Replacement.
5. Remove clutch assembly as described in Section 3.3
Clutch Replacement - Removal.
6. Remove four M8 locknuts
and four M8x45 screws
from trowel guard.
7. For engine overhaul procedures, refer to engine
manufacturer's repair manual.
Installation:
1. Line up engine with mounting holes. Reinstall four M8
(d)
locknuts
, eight B8 washers
(f)
screws
. Tighten to 55 in.lbs. (6.2 Nm).
2. Reinstall clutch assembly as described in Section 3.3
Clutch Replacement - Removal.
3. Reinstall belt as described in Section 3.1 Belt
Replacement.
4. Reconnect electric control cable to front of engine.
Replace tie-wraps holding cable to engine.
5. Reconnect throttle cable
Adjust throttle cable as described in Section 2.1
Throttle Lever Control Adjustment.
6. Replace filter, M6 wing nut, filter cover, and M6
