GENERAL INFORMATION

The Aqua-Cleer MFP 4-44 MD MD is designed to produce very pure
water for hemodialysis use in conjunction with artificial kidneys; it must
therefore be fed with water to be treated, having characteristics at least
suitable for potable use and treated through a prefiltration process
specially developed and created by Culligan, on the basis of appropriate
chemical analyses.
For the quality of product water, the Aqua-Cleer MFP 4-44 MD is
compatible with all artificial kidneys which, for the qualitative
characteristics of the inlet water, adopt AAMI standards. For the quantity
of product water it is compatible with all artificial kidneys which, overall,
are able to receive an equivalent water flow.
Due to its design, the Aqua-Cleer MFP 4-44 MD can only be used for
hospital dialysis by medical and/or auxiliary medical personnel.

The user treated water flow rate parameter is
obtained as a function of various parameters:
temperature, operating pressure and recovery
ratio are the main ones.
The flow rates given above in the table are
obtained at a water temperature of approx. 20°C,
with a pressure of approx. 261 psi and 200 psi
(18 and 14 bar) according to the models,
recovery ratio of 75% and new osmosis module.
The drain water flow rate parameter is also
obtained as a function of various parameters:
temperature, operating pressure and recovery
ratio are the main ones:
The above flow rates are obtained at a water
temperature of approx. 10°C, with a pressure of
approx. 200 or 261 psi (14 or 18 bar) according
to the models, recovery ratio of 45% and no
longer new osmosis module.
