4. To Set Up

1. Remove the Water Reservoir Plug by turning it counterclockwise slightly.
2. Fill the Water Reservoir with clean, cool water. Do not use carbonated water and do not add oils or fra-
grances to the water. For best results, use distilled water to minimize mineral deposits. Replace the Water
Reservoir Plug, turning slightly clockwise to secure.
3. Place the Water Reservoir onto the Base, making sure it seats properly.
4. Place the humidifier on a flat, level, stable, waterproof surface in a place where it cannot be easily knocked
over. Select an elevated position if possible such as a table, dresser, chair, or nightstand. Do not place
the humidifier on the floor.
5. Connect the Power Cord to a standard electrical outlet. Route the Power Cord so that it does not pose
a trip hazard.

5. To Use

1. Press the On/Off Button once to switch the humidifier on. The button will illuminate in blue indicating
the humidifier is set to "High." Press the On/Off Button again to switch the humidifier to "Low"; the
button will illuminate white.
2. Press the On/Off Button again to switch to Night Mode; the button lighting will shut off and the humid-
ifier will remain on "Low."
3. To shut the humidifier off, press the On/Off Button again. The unit will also shut off when the water level
becomes low; the On/Off Button will illuminate in red. Refill with water as described in chapter 4 "To
Set Up" and then press the ON/OFF Button to reactivate.
4. Shut the device off before refilling with water. Change the water in your humidifier regularly to ensure
a fresh supply.
5. Shut the humidifier off, unplug the Power Cord, and empty any remaining water whenever the humid-
ifier is not in use.
