W RNING
Turn switch "OFF" and always remove plug from the power source before trouble shooting.
PROBLEM
1. Power cord is not plugged in.
2. Fuse or circuit breaker tripped.
3. Cord damaged.
4. Burned out switch.
REMEDY
1. Plug saw in.
2. Replace fuse or reset tripped circuit breaker.
3. Have cord replaced by an uthorized Bosch Service Center or Service Station.
4. Have switch replaced by an uthorized Bosch Service Center or Service Station.
PROBLEM
1. Extension cord too light or too long.
2. Low house voltage.
REMEDY
1. Replace with adequate cord.
2. Contact your electric company.
PROBLEM
1. Failure to tighten tilt lock handle.
2. Blade out of balance.
3. Saw not mounted securely to stand or workbench.
4. rbor Nut not tight.
REMEDY
1. See "Getting To Know Your Table Saw" section, (Page 9- 10).
2. Discard Blade and use different blade.
3. Tighten all mounting hardware, See "Mounting the Table Saw" section, (Page 16).
4. See " ssembly" section, "Changing The Blade" (Page 14-15).
PROBLEM
1. Dull blade with improper tooth set.
2. Warped board.
3. Rip fence not parallel to blade.
4. Spreader out of alignment..
REMEDY
1. Sharpen or replace blade.
2. Make sure concave or hollow side is facing "DOWN" feed slowly.
3. See "Operating djustments" section " ligning Rip Fence" (Page 19).
4. See " ssembly" section, " ttaching Blade Guard" (Page 12 - 13).
PROBLEM
1. lignment screws not adjusted properly.
REMEDY
1. See "Operating djustments" section, " djusting
Blade Parallel to Miter Gauge Slots" (Page 18).
PROBLEM
1. Blade tilt lock handle not loosened when making tilt adjustment.
2. Saw dust on depth screw threads.
REMEDY
1. See "Getting To Know Your Table Saw" section, "Blade Tilt Lock Knob" (9-10).
2. See "Maintaining Your Table Saw" section, "Lubrication" (Page 35).
