Step 1 Lower the pullers of two optical modules, insert one optical module into the port on the RRU
and the other optical module into the CPRI port on the BBU, and raise the pullers, as shown in
Figure

The performance of an optical module that is exposed to the air for more than 20 minutes may
be abnormal. Therefore, you must insert an fiber optic cable into an unpacked optical module
within 20 minutes.
Step 2 Connect the end labeled 1A and 1B of the optical cable to the optical module on the RRU side,
as shown in

A CPRI optical cable transmits CPRI signals between a BBU and an RRU.
