Audio Signal for Indication of the Laser Beam
The position of the laser beam on the reception area 9 can be
indicated via an audio signal.
After the tool has been switched on, the audio signal is always
set to the low volume level.
The volume level can be increased or switched off.
To change or switch off the audio signal, press the audio signal
button 4. When the volume is low, a brief low signal will sound
and the center-indication LED 7 will light up. When the volume is
high, a brief high signal will sound and the LED direction indica-
tors 6, 7, and 8 will light up. When the audio signal is switched
off, the LED indicators are also turned off.
Independent of the audio signal setting, every time a button on
the tool is pressed, then a short, low-volume beep sounds.
Working Advice
Marking
When the laser beam runs through the center of the reception
area 9, its height can be marked at the center mark 12 right and
left on the tool.
When marking, make sure to align the tool for each laser beam,
both vertically and horizontally. If this is not done, then the marks
will be offset from the laser beam.
Attaching with the Magnet (see figure B)
When a positive-lock attachment is not absolutely required, then
the magnets 10 on the top side of the tool can be used to attach
the tool to steel parts.
