3.0 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS Personal Fall Arrest System Components The Guardian™ Horizontal Lifeline System has been designed to be used with approved Guardian™ components and sub-systems only. Non-approved components and sub- systems may be incompatible and could affect the overall system. These components must meet all applicable OSHA and ANSI standards. - Page 6 Clearance – There must be sufficient clearance beneath the structure to ensure that workers do not contact an obstruction below. See chart on following page. Contact your Guardian™ representative for additional information. Swing Falls – It is important to work as close as possible under the horizontal lifeline to minimize swing fall hazards.
