Responsibility of the operator

The operator is the person who operates the Tool24 PickOne goods issue
system for industrial or economic purposes or who relinquishes this use to

a third­party and who, during the period of operation, carries the product
responsibility for protecting users, personnel, or third parties.
The Tool24 PickOne goods issue system is used in industry. The operator is
therefore subject to the statutory work safety obligations. In addition to the
safety information in this manual, all applicable safety, occupational safety,
and environmental safety regulations for the usage area of the Tool24
PickOne goods issue system must be observed.
In particular, the following applies:

The operator must find out about applicable occupational safety
regulations and determine additional dangers arising from the special
working conditions at the usage location of the Tool24 PickOne goods
issue system by means of a risk assessment. This must be converted into
operating instructions for the operation of the Tool24 PickOne goods issue
system.

The operator must ensure that all persons who work with the Tool24
PickOne goods issue system have read and understood this manual.
In addition, the operator must regularly train the personnel and ensure
that they are aware of the dangers.
The operator must provide the personnel with the required protective
equipment and instruct the personnel that they must use this
equipment.
The operator must make sure that the maintenance intervals specified
in this manual are observed.
The operator must regularly check ­ or must arrange for a third party to
check ­ all safety equipment to ensure that it is working correctly and is
complete.
