    Cond 315i Safety Safety This operating manual contains basic instructions that you must follow during the commissioning, operation and maintenance of the measur- ing instrument. Consequently, all responsible personnel must read this operating manual carefully before working with the measuring system.

    Temperature probe Only carry out measurements with a temperature probe. The tempera- ture probe is shown on the display by TP. The WTW TetraCon325 conductivity measuring cell has a temperature sensor integrated in it. Note The conductivity measuring instrument automatically recognizes the type of the temperature probe used.

    Operation Cond 315i 4.2.2 Conductivity / Specific resistance Note You can display measured values in the units µ S/cm (conductivity) or M Ω cm (specific resistance). This basic setting is described in section 4.4 C ONFIGURATION Thus, you can carry out conductivity measurements or measurements of the specific resistance: Perform the preparatory activities according to section 4.2.1.

    Cond 315i Operation 4.2.3 Salinity You can carry out the salinity measurements as follows: Perform the preparatory activities according to section 4.2.1. Immerse the conductivity measuring cell in the test sample. Press the <M> key until Sal appears on the status display. The salinity value appears on the display.
